Automated Axis Locks
Powerful automated axis locks streamline your workflow. When the gimbal powers off, holding the power button automatically unlocks the three axes, expanding the gimbal within two seconds.
A single press of the power button engages the automatic lock, entering sleep mode efficiently for enhanced maneuvering or storage.
Wireless Shutter Control
Featuring Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology, the RS 3 Pro provides efficient and reliable wireless shutter control. The gimbal effortlessly reconnects with previously paired cameras, saving valuable time for every use.
Integrated Controls
A newly integrated fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis enables millimeter-grade precision adjustments, facilitating accurate balancing when changing lenses. Teflon-coated components reduce friction resistance, ensuring smoother balancing, even with heavy cameras.
The gimbal mode switch allows seamless transitions between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. Customize FPV mode to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom settings for quick adjustments.
The front dial rotation controls zoom or focus and can be customized for camera shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements. This feature enhances convenience for single-handed operation.
Third-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
Powered by a cutting-edge stabilization algorithm, the RS 3 Pro achieves a 20% enhancement in stability over its predecessor, the RS 2. This advanced technology effortlessly manages low-angle shots, running scenarios, and transitions between high and low positions.
SuperSmooth Results
Activate SuperSmooth mode for increased motor torque, enhancing stabilization. This feature ensures stable footage in fast-moving scenarios or when using 100mm-equivalent focal lenses.
ActiveTrack Pro
Experience unparalleled accuracy and responsiveness with the next-generation ActiveTrack Pro. Directly reading images from the built-in LiDAR Range Finder camera eliminates the need for the Ronin Image Transmitter. Monitor or frame subjects directly on the RS 3 Pro’s OLED touchscreen when utilizing ActiveTrack Pro.
Large 1.8″ OLED Touchscreen
The built-in 1.8″ OLED full-color touchscreen boasts a 28% larger display compared to the RS 2. Ideal for setting parameters, checking shooting status, and framing tracked subjects, the redesigned user interface ensures intuitive and precise control. The OLED screen also offers higher brightness for superior outdoor visibility with lower power consumption than the RS 2’s LCD screen.
Carbon Fiber Construction
The RS 3 Pro boasts arms constructed from uncut carbon fiber sheets, similar to the Ronin 2, enhancing its strength and reducing weight compared to the jointed carbon fiber material used in the RS 2. This design choice increases stiffness, making it more resilient and adaptable to challenging shooting environments.
LiDAR Compatibility
Incorporating Ronin 4D’s LiDAR focusing technology, the RS 3 Pro facilitates easier focusing during handheld shooting. The optional LiDAR Range Finder (RS) can project an impressive 43,200 ranging points within a 14-meter area.
